Education minors enhance their major degree program with academic and experiential learning opportunities while exploring the field of teacher education.<\/p>\n
The School of Education offers a 24-credit undergraduate minor for persons interested in gaining skills working in educational settings. Completing the Education Minor will assist in meeting numerous prerequisites for entering one of the graduate teacher preparation programs (Master of Arts in Teaching or Special Education).<\/p>\n
The program consists of three required courses (Ed 251, Ed 252, and Ed 462); 3 credits of practicum experience; and 12 credits of electives (to be determined with the advisor).<\/p>\n
